Fimbling is such fun

Another early start at Racodac this morning (for a session similar to last Wednesday's) saw me sitting on the same bus as Pete B. once more. He didn't look too happy at first, but that was probably because my early start at Racodac this morning saw me sitting on the same bus as him :-)

Nah, we had a good little chat and the laughs evidently cheered the both of us up.

The Programme Making tutorial was okay - nothing particularly exciting, as the Wednesday tutor only covers the paperwork aspects of Programme Making. Today we were told about budgets, as we've got to write a proposal for a new television programme by the end of term. Oh, and we've got an EXAM coming up too.

When the tutorial had finished, I conversed with Elliot S. in the Graphics Studio until our Context Studies lecture at 2:00 PM. Our discussions (and belly-laughing) continued in the aforementioned lecture, as both of us had seen the title sequences that the guest speaker screened and analysed.

After the lecture, I moped about in the Graphics Studio with Zehra A, trying to muster up something for our illiteracy project. I've been seriously lacking enthusiasm of late, you see, as have many fellow students (including Zehra). It's as if the course is draining it from us or something. Only it's started to take our inspiration and creativity too.

In fact, I've recorded a new ringtone on my phone that demonstrates this current state of 'lethargy'. (That wasn't my intention, I just got bored and ended up doing it.) It's certainly given me a laugh this evening anyway. Although whether it's funny, or whether my mind's just making more of it because of this lacklustre feeling is another matter.
Reading that back, I'd just like to point out that things aren't *that* bad. I.e. I'm not rock bottom or anything. Of course there are good days - there are some great days. But they're great on a social level. It's just as much as I enjoy the laughs, I'm there to do some [Moving Image Design] work and be inspired etc, which just isn't happening at the moment.
