Really wowed by the current series of Doctor Who (which they're confusingly calling "Series 1"), I've been looking into watching some of the older episodes. Genesis of the Daleks came highly recommended, so I've already got a copy of that waiting in my video.

Anyhow, with all the talk of who should be the next doctor (the brilliant Eccleston quit after the first episode aired), I thought I'd put Alan Davies forward as my suggestion.

Obviously I don't regard myself an expert on Doctor Who after only two episodes. But having followed Jonathan Creek very closely since day one, I can really see Davies taking on the role and playing it well.

He looks a fair bit like Tom Baker too.
