Rotting away at the end of it all

I've spent ALL day at home today implementing the tutor's suggested changes to my animation. And when I say "ALL day", I mean just that:
  • 10:20 AM through to 10:30 PM drawing;

  • 10:30 PM to 10:40 PM setting up a homemade line tester;

  • 10:40 PM to 11:10 PM shooting the animation frame by frame on a digital stills camera;

  • 11:10 PM to 11:15 PM animating the digital stills.
The only breaks that I had were to eat lunch (a crisp sandwich) and to also use the lavatory. Twice. And the final animation looks sodding worse than what I showed the tutor yesterday. ARSE.

To make matters even more spirit-crushing...

Because of the lack of special animation paper, I had to rub out all of my previous drawings to re-use the sheets. So I'm going to have to start AGAIN from scratch tomorrow, rubbing out today's painstaking efforts to reproduce my original attempt.

Despite every reason I have to break down into tears, I've been maniacally laughing like a mad scientist whose re-animation project (DYSWIDT?) has gone hideously wrong. It's almost as if - in some weird & twisted way - the day has gone so far past being bad that it's caught up with being good.

Or not.
