I could tell from your walk

Today saw the longest critique at Racodac that I've ever had the misfortune to sit through. It was painful. Plus, I had the worst headache ever throughout. I know people generally say "ever" about things, but I truthfully mean it; It was the worst headache of my life - and I've had some nasty headaches over the years.

I'm sure the tutors were wearing tighter undies today too, as they were unbelievably harsh with their feedback in the crit. My group (which consisted of two people) was the very last to present, surprisingly receiving positive comments from the tutors. But by that point, I didn't care and just wanted to go to bed.

Having to wait an hour in the freezing cold for a bus to come along that was actually in service didn't make me feel any better. Although seeing an Anus Soothe Pile Cream - "one size fits all" glove on the walk to the bus stop did raise a big smile.

Now at home, having sat in complete darkness for two hours, I feel a lot better. But I'm going to do something highly unexpected and have an early night, as I'm clearly still a wee bit ill. (Bed before midnight, I must be mad!)
